Why does Daredevil get more love than other street-level characters like Luke Cage or Iron Fist in terms of books? Why is that Marvel's street level seem to be very DD/Punisher/Spidey-centric? I think Luke Cage, Daughters of the Dragon, Iron Fist, etc bring a certain diverse outlook on that particular world and expand upon the minority experience at that level - the beauty in the struggle if you will. And any chance of another street-level event? Felt Shadowland was a missed opportunity.
The short answer is that Daredevil has always sold better and more consistently than those other characters–which is why his series continues while theirs come and go.
Pretty much all silver age Marvel characters dominate over the eras that followed. This isn’t news.
