Most influential of the 80s? No question: Art Adams.
And Gil Kane is pretty great.
Art was pretty much foundational to artists like Jim Lee and Rob Liefeld as well, and probably the father of the Image style of the 90′s. He is still influencing today’s best artists; like Nick Bradshaw.
I would say Art is the most influential artist of the last 30 years.
